Dr. Robert Medeck, D.C., C.C.S.T
Owner and Chiropractor
Dr. Robert Medeck has been in continuous practice for over 40 years. Graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985, Dr Medeck has devoted himself to learning a range of chiropractic techniques through the years of practice to meet the individual needs of his patients. He is well versed and proficient with traditional approaches to treatment, including osseous adjustment techniques to more refined "Light Touch" approaches that require vert minimal adjustive pressure while treating, dependent upon individual patient needs and response to various treatment approaches. He has also had training and experience with esoteric forms of healing utilizing principles of polarity and energy healing methodologies such as reiki, bio energy synchronization, touch for health, and endocrine reflexes. Dr. Medeck understands the intertwining and extremely important relationship of the skeletal and soft tissue systems, so he incorporates therapeutic massage with licensed massage therapist as well as myofascial release techniques that he preforms into his practice.
Jolene Bloss
Office Manager
Jolene has been working with Dr. Medeck since 2005. She is an essential part of our team. She enjoys spending time with her family as well as camping and gardening. She does nearly everything behind the scenes as the scenes as the office manager, billing department, and ensuring the business end of the practice runs smoothly. If there's a question about billing or insurance, Jolene is the one you can go to to get a clear understanding of how it all works.
Laurel Rodden
Medical Receptionist
Laurel, a Southern California native, moved to Ashland with her Husband in 2023. She's been with Light Touch since 2024. She has a range of medical experience including being a medical receptionist, CNA, and medical assistant. She grew up never expecting to work in the medical filed but is happy that life lead her here. In her free time she like to cook/bake, read, go out to eat, and spend time with her Husband and cats. She also enjoys being outside, going on long walks, bike rides, hikes, and practicing yoga.

Paulino Artega
Paulino, originally from Mexico, has lived in many countries and can speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He’s been living on and off in Ashland for the last 22 years. He studied Thai Massage at the Traditional Medicine Hospital in Cheng Mai, Thailand, Rolfing at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado, and Manual Osteopathy at the National Institute of Osteopath in Toronto, Canada. He is also well studied in cranio sacral and visceral manipulation techniques. Is his free time, he practices yoga and martial arts; and enjoys music and traveling.
Jenna Kohler
Jenna, born and raised in Maui, was surrounded by bodywork her entire life which inspired her love for massage. She graduated from Rogue Community College’s licensed massage therapist program in 2024. She is passionate with working on mothers, expecting mothers, as well as teens. She is trained deep tissue, myofascial release, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her children, many pets, and her partner on their farm.
Luis Morales
Luis sees everyday as a mystery and every session as an opportunity for a deeper presence. He approaches life and work as exchanges of energy that eventually pushes us towards greater harmony and reciprocity. He graduated from the National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church Virginia in 2014 and has been teaching Reiki and facilitating shamanic drumming for over 13 years. Luis is well practiced in many techniques including proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, trigger point release, myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, active/resistive stretching and the Trager Method. He is a visionary, artist, musician, and writer. In his free time, he enjoys listening to jazz, films, snowboarding, and having regenerative relationship and practices with Mother Nature.
